Ball Is Art is a digital art series developed by a team of three artists—Chad Kabigting, Carson Ting, and Josh Ingleby. With deep roots in Toronto, Canada, the trio united through their shared passion for basketball to create this unique hybrid NFT series.

The team
Basketball is more than a sport, it’s art. A moving canvas of creativity, skill, and cultural expression.
The art series was created by three artists: Chad Kabigting, Carson Ting, and Josh Ingleby whose artwork and motion design transform the familiar into something unexpected, forming a unique hybrid NFT collection.

Carson Ting
Artist
Carson Ting is an artist and founder of the Billion Buns brand and Chairman Ting studio, known for its vibrant, whimsical style. His award-winning work has collaborated with global brands like Nike, Microsoft, Starbucks, OFF-WHITE, NBA, Porsche, and adidas Originals.
Blending fluid line work with playful character-based shapes, his distinctive style stems from a background in advertising, where he created award-winning campaigns for Nike Jordan, Sony, Lexus, and Science World.
Beyond commercial projects, he continues to expand his fine art practice to enrich his personal body of work

Chad Kabigting
Creative Director / Artist
Chad Kabigting is a Toronto based creative with work that’s been internationally awarded at The Clios, The One Show, Cannes Lions, London International Awards, Marketing Awards, Mashable Awards and published in Communication Arts, Applied Arts Magazine, Luerzer’s Archive and Advertising: Concept and Copy. His career has spanned over 25 years in advertising, creative direction, art direction, and design.
Chad is currently freelancing at the top advertising agencies across Canada on brands such as: McDonald’s, IKEA, Under Armour, Molson, WestJet, Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons and more. He is also a professor at OCAD University and George Brown College's School of Design.

Josh Ingleby
Visual Artist & Motion Designer
Joshua Ingleby is a visual artist & motion designer from Toronto, Canada. He focuses his craft on design, animation, installations, and creative uses of technology.
He has over 15 years experience in advertising, 20 years in animation/FX and has instructed Motion Design.
Recent artistic pursuits explore our emotional connection to objects and spaces both digitally and physically through AR, installation, and sculpture.
